Nicholas C. Noah D.P.M.

Noah Foot and Ankle Center, PLLC is founded by Nicholas Charles Noah who is a foot and ankle surgeon and North Carolina licensed podiatric physician who seeks to provide excellent podiatric medical and surgical care to Wilmington, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Dr. Noah is a North Carolina native who grew up in Graham which is roughly 190 miles from Wilmington near the research triangle area. After graduating high school with honors, he decided to pursue his desire to become a physician by enrolling in The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2002. After graduating with his Bachelor of Science in biology and minor in chemistry in 2006, he applied to osteopathic and podiatric medical school. Dr. Noah ultimately decided to pursue podiatry and attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, FL. In 2011 he graduated with his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine then went on to attend a three-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH and Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, OK finishing in 2014.

Tamara T. Noah R.T., c.c.c.a., notary public

NFA Clinic Administrator

Tamara T. Noah resides in Alamance County North Carolina, is married and mother of three children.  She is an alumni of The University of Oklahoma.  She received her Chiropractic Radiology Technologist Certification (RT) from the American Chiropractic Registry, and also is a Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant (CCCA).  She is currently a Notary Public in the State of North Carolina.  She has been the manager-business secretary-bookkeeper-RT-CCCA of Noah Chiropractic since 1983. She has been the secretary/treasurer of NewZyme, Incorporated since 2006 and manages all its sales and distribution.  Tamara also works for Millichap Books, LLC where she is head of sales and distribution, administrative secretary and bookkeeper.  She is the administrative secretary and bookkeeper of the TriS Foundation which is a non-profit organization with the purpose of discovering and publishing indigenous wisdom and contemporary culture.  She is proud to announce adding Noah Foot and Ankle Center, PLLC to her resume where her duties will include administrative secretary-treasurer-bookkeeper and assistant to Dr. Nicholas C. Noah with patient care. Her extensive experience in various businesses gives merit to her managerial qualities.  She focuses her energies in each facet of her life with an extreme commitment to all of the companies who employ her.

NATALIE GUNKEl

Assistant Clinic Administrator and Social Media Director

Growing up on a horse farm in North Carolina, Natalie Gunkel found her passion for meteorology. Natalie earned her degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Ashville with a minor in Mathematics in 2008. Starting her broadcast meteorology career in 2009, it moved her to Nashville, TN along with Baton Rouge and Lafayette, LA. She joined the WBRZ weather team in April of 2018 and currently resides in Baton Rouge with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her kids and visiting her hometown in North Carolina. Natalie's past times include traveling, wake boarding, and skiing. 

Natalie looks forward to expanding Dr. Noah's online content to maximize his reach for NFA. 

 
 
 
 
 


AUBREY JONES

Clinic Supervisor, Nursing Home Coordinator, and Medical Specialist.

Aubrey Jones began her journey in the medical field as a caregiver when she accepted a position as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at Saint Joseph Assisted Living in Manhattan, KS in 2000. She then furthered her certification for Pharmacy Tech and Certified Medication Assistant while working at Saint Joseph at Barton County Community College.  In 2001, she gave birth to baby girl who was born with significant health problems and required Aubrey’s devoted attention in the first couple of years in her life.  During this time, Aubrey decided she wanted to continue her journey in healthcare and in 2003, she enrolled at Kansas State University for Pre-Medicine with a minor in Dance. Aubrey continued to care for her daughter, attend school in the evening hours, and work full time at a family practice as a lab tech and later went on to work several years managing the clinical and nursing side of a pain management clinic. She moved back to North Carolina to be closer to her family and friends after the loss of her daughter and dedicated the last year and a half working with patients who struggle with mental health and substance abuse. In May 2022, she joined NFA and is our Clinic Supervisor, Nursing Home Coordinator, and Medical Specialist.  She enjoys working with our patient population as well as coworkers. She loves spending her off time with her husband and family at her niece’s cheer competitions, the beach, in Alaska, and at home.

 

MARICELA GARCIA

Front Desk Specialist

Maricela Garcia began her journey in the medical field as a front desk receptionist. She’s bilingual in English and Spanish and has been a medical receptionist for 15 years. She moved to Wilmington, NC from Vista, California to be closer to her two adult children. She enjoys working with our patients and fabulous coworkers. She joined the NFA team in 2023 as our front desk specialist. She enjoys spending time with her kiddos, power walking, beach time and the hot weather in North Carolina which her kiddos find it a bit strange.
